The decoration of the hotel was lovely, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I especially enjoyed the comfortable sitting areas where I could relax and admire the beautiful views of the sea. It made me feel right at home.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there in terms of providing necessary instructions and information for a better vacation experience for senior people.

The lack of a welcome/instruction book and some areas in need of maintenance, like broken cooker knobs and bathroom tiles, were minor drawbacks.

Absolutely stunning property. Cozy, perfect, stunning views from both the front and back of the house. The little extra touches were fabulous. Wine, shortbread, logs by the stove. The location was great and enabled us to explore. Calum was very helpful and on call if we needed him. The heating was very effective and cosy particularly when the weather turned nasty. Equipped with washing machine and outdoor clothesline if needed. Nature lovers would thoroughly enjoy staying here. The perfect stay for us.
No instructions, took us 40 minutes to get it going. TV didn't work, had to plug in the aerial which was inconvenient.

Quaraing House Villa was an absolute dream. the cozy, stunning views from both the front and back of the house were perfect. We felt so welcomed with the little extra touches like wine, shortbread, and logs by the stove. Bringing our dogs along made the trip extra special for us and the kids. This charming and well-equipped house, located just 20 minutes from Portree, was the perfect base for exploring Skye. We loved the old gas stove in the kitchen and the luxurious shower in the bathroom. the bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable, especially the master bed. We can't wait to return and enjoy a cup of tea on the front porch overlooking the ocean.
No negatives from this place. 👍🏼.

We had a delightful stay at Quaraing House Villa. The location was stunning, with beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. The cottage itself was charming and comfortable, providing us with a cozy retreat after our daily hiking adventures. The host, Calum, was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The underfloor heating in the kitchen/dining area was a lovely touch, keeping us warm during chilly evenings. We also appreciated that the cottage was dog-friendly, allowing us to bring our furry friend along for the trip.
The lack of guidance on the TV and oven. We had trouble getting the TV to work, even after being advised to hook it up to an outside dish via the window.

The fully furnished house was a pleasant surprise, with everything we needed from spices in the kitchen to books. The homely feel of the place made us instantly comfortable. The location was excellent, offering easy access to explore the stunning beauty of Skye. We particularly enjoyed waking up to spectacular views every morning and seeing how they changed throughout the day. The spacious living room provided a relaxing space after a day of hiking.
Finding the house was quite challenging, especially when arriving late in the evening during winter when it gets pitch black. Better directions or a clearer description of the house's location would have been helpful.
